Levels of Service

Contingency Search –

When working under the contingency search agreement we will refer candidates to you without any financial commitment from you. You pay a fee only when you hire a candidate sourced by us. This allows you to see candidates without a financial risk, but since our relationship is non-exclusive, at our discretion we will present the same candidates to other companies looking for the top talent we provide.

Priority Search –

This search agreement does just what it says – We make your search a Priority. This level of service requires an initial financial commitment from the client company of 25% of the estimated fee ($5000 minimum). This engagement fee moves your search from one of many searches that we are working on to the top priority for our office. In addition you will receive:

  • Exclusive Candidates – we will not present your candidates to other hiring companies until after they have been ruled out by you or for a period of 10 days after submission with no response.
  • Weekly Updates – know exactly where your search is going and what to expect in the coming weeks.

Retained Search –

This is the highest level of service provided by 5 Lakes Consulting LLC and is typically reserved for the highest level of employees working with your company including Directors, C-Level, and VP roles. At this level you will receive our Exclusive Attention. This level of service requires one third of the estimated fee upon execution of the agreement, one third of the fee at presentation of qualified candidates, and the final third at the completion of the search. In exchange for the confidence you have entrusted with us we will provide you with:

  • Exclusive Candidates – we will not present your candidates to other hiring companies for the duration of your search.
  • Weekly Updates – know exactly where your search is going and what to expect in the coming weeks.
  • Reference Checks – we provide a detailed reference check upon submission of a candidate to ensure the candidate is fully capable of performing and meets your requirements.
  • Replacement Guarantee – the candidate is guaranteed for a period of 60 days. If the candidate does not meet this we will provide replacement candidates at no charge.
