Who is Mike Miller?

Innately driven, my career continues to center on an instinctive desire to develop business and create opportunities within companies. At it’s start, my career allowed for a team-building experience through the management of a small chemical manufacturer. After receiving a Bachelor’s degree in Business Leadership, I enthusiastically entered the sales world at an office equipment supplier, where I expanded my passion for “hunting” for new business and cultivating relationships. After years of territory growth and ultimately increasing the customer base by nearly 40%, I took the next step in my career by accepting a position with a local recruiting office -- one of the business relationships I established while simply trying to sell a copier.

During the downturn of the economy, it became harder and harder to find companies who were using recruiters to fill positions. At that time, a door of opportunity opened up to become a Medical Device Rep for DepuyMitek, a Sports Medicine division of Johnson & Johnson. It was during this time that I really came to grasp the different aspects of the Medical Device industry and how each aspect of the organization integrates together. But, my desire was to still get back into recruiting. The timing was right and I made the leap into opening my own recruiting firm.  

It is working in the recruitment field that has fulfilled another goal - helping people. That desire is nurtured in this work environment. My background of business development through relationship building enables me to work with our candidates and clients to not only help advance careers, but also help client companies find the best candidates to complement their team. Being a recruiter gives me endless opportunities to get to know great people and have an overall positive effect on people’s lives.
